PSM has had access to over 100 of the industrial gas turbines - and thousands of airfoils. This unique hands-on contact has allowed our engineers to systematically characterize and examine new, engine-run, repaired and failed airfoils. PSM engineers combine this knowledge with their experience in land-based combustion turbines, electrical generation, and military and aerospace technology to create some of the industry's most advanced airfoils.

Each PSM airfoil is fully re-engineered to be completely compatible and address specific flaws in OEM designs. To date, we've implemented design changes that reduce stress levels at critical areas of components. We've incorporated state-of-the-art cooling schemes and advanced airfoil coatings. And, in certain cases, we've introduced improved alloys that enhance resistance to creep, fatigue and corrosion.

The results of PSM's applied expertise are turbine parts - many patented - that last long, cost less and interchange seamlessly with OEM components.
